"Let me introduce myself! My name is Anne, I am the mom of two grown children and I love teaching! I have 15 years of experience teaching Spanish and love helping all levels of Spanish learners improve their skills. I have worked with many different age groups from elementary school through College level.

I have professional experience serving native Spanish speakers both as a court interpreter and a professional Social Worker. Although I am not a native speaker I have worked very hard on my accent and correct pronunciation, and teach this to my students. The experience of learning Spanish as an adult has given me an understanding of the unique challenges of learning a second language and I have many strategies to overcome these challenges.

I graduated from NC State with a 4.0 average and completed graduate coursework in Spanish as well. I completed all of the basic woo level Spanish classes as well as culture and literature classes.
