The following is my methodology:
Each student must compose his or her own essay. I proofread and enhance a student's prose, making the essay ready for a student to include with his or her university applications. A student and I communicate via email, sending the raw and polished versions of an essay as email attachments. I keep careful track of my time spent working to ensure a student's fee is exactly what it should be. My time spent editing each one, double-spaced page of an essay varies among students, and it is between one and two hours. If I need less than an hour, I will charge appropriately, and if I need more than two hours, I will email the student to ask his or her permission.
Experience has made me a skilled proofreader. I am the author of the published novel which I spent four months editing and proofreading after completing a first draft. I was also a staff writer for the Tallahassee FSView student newspaper, which had a twice weekly circulation of 38,000 each.
I graduated from the outstanding Gulliver Academy, attending from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Then I attended Gulliver Preparatory School through 12th grade and graduated. There I excelled in honors and advanced placement courses, which instilled in me a solid knowledge of math and various sciences. During the summer after my junior year, I was selected to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy Summer Science Seminar, and there I became exposed to cutting edge technologies while enhancing my scientific knowledge.
On the SAT, I scored a 710 in math and a 650 in verbal. Having also scored well on the ACT, I am qualified to prepare students for these exams as well as the similar GRE. I applied to the U.S. Air Force Academy and received an appointment, but I chose instead to attend The Florida State University Honors Program and College of Business. T" less...
