"I'm currently a substitute teacher for Volusia County School District. My credential is in Social Studies grades 6-12. I have 5 years of teaching experience. I've taught in Clark County Nevada as well. I also taught conversational English as a second language in Italy for 3 years.

I consider tutoring my strong point because it is one-on-one. It's the best way to learn by far. I love tutoring because of the direct feedback and visibility of results. I also think the flexibility of hours and workload would be a pleasure. Also, getting to teach a student at preset hours will insure that they are ready to learn. The motivation is also built-in because of the cost.

I'm well-read in classics of world and American literature. I have a natural enthusiasm for the subject and will be knowledgeable about anything that the student is potentially reading in school.
