"As far back as elementary school, I knew I wanted to work in a science-related field. I've always been intrigued by animal documentaries, and for a while, I was considering a career as a biologist; in fact, this was my major during my freshman year at college. As it turned out, I discovered an equally fascinating field that totally flipped my world upside-down: physics.

I'm currently working on earning my Ph.D. in physics, with a concentration in condensed matter. It is my belief that everyone is capable of understanding math, especially when we can demonstrate how useful it can be in real-world applications, and this is precisely where physics comes in.
