"I have spent the past 7 years as an independent college counselor offering personalized college counseling to students and their families across the globe.
The decision to go to college is a big step, but deciding where to go and figuring out how you will get in is even bigger. The college admission process is often confusing when it should be exciting. I will help you find the best school for you and guide you through the entire college admissions process. Whether it is essay writing, career assessment, financial aid applications, or the college search in general, contact me for help with your individual college admissions needs.
In addition to my BS in Business Management from Bucknell University, I obtained a Certificate in College Counseling from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Prior to becoming a college counselor, I spent 6 years as an English teacher in Europe. I have helped students across the globe find their fit and get in!
I am a member of the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA) as well as the International Association for College Admission Counseling (IACAC). I am also a virtual college counselor for the nonprofit Scholarmatch, which helps high achieving, low income students on their path to college. I keep up to date on college admissions trends, college options, education policies and high school curriculum by attending many professional conferences, workshops and webinars throughout the year.
If you are interested in a comprehensive plan instead of hourly, please contact me for more information. After getting to know the student and their family and gaining a clear understanding of their interests, goals and needs, I will establish a plan to guide them through the college selection and admission process. I create plans designated for students between 9th and 12th grade based upon their individual needs." less...
