"My name is Roya! As a senior in high school, I had to take the national university entrance exam for entering the university. I chose Computer Science. As a senior, I was studying in Computer Science, I started torturings Math to refine my knowledge and skills in areas of interest to me until I got my bachelor degree in Computer Science, and then my Master degree in Artificial Intelligence. I moved to The United States in 2015 to get my second master in Industrial Engineering. I started working in the lab as a Research Assistant to do soil analysis and also helping my classmates in Math subjects. After a while, I started tutoring undergrad students in Algebra and Calculus. I graduated in May 2017 with my master in industrial engineering. Since I love Math and Statistics, I decided to get another Master, but this time in Statistics and I started in 2017. I will be graduating with my master in applied Statistics in May 2019.
I love teaching mathematics and applying the tools of the subject. I have thought several mathematics subjects, including 79thgrade general mathematics, prealgebra, Algebra I, Algebra II, PreCalculus, Calculus, Geometry, Multivariate Analysis, and Statistics. My current interests center around Algebra and Statistics. I believe It is very important to learn how each student learns and digests mathematics. I always do my best to make learning a fun experience. I do have my lessons plan which I introduce each topic in a very fun and creative way. I always make sure that the students practice the material on their own and show me their work.
Depends on your learning style, Math can be a hard and timeconsuming subject. I strongly encourage all the students to learn math in a fun and creative way. We don't have to memorize but understand. Believe me, Math is fun. You will get to the point that you will be able to solve a problem in different ways and be so proud of yourself. I want to benefit the students I work with as much as possible. Feel free to contact me with any additional questi" less...
