I'm a professional nature photographer, naturalist, author, and adjunct professor of biology and environmental science at Johnson State College. I've been observing, writing about, and photographing natural history for over three decades. My photos and articles have appeared in academic journals and leading national and international publications.

A typical day would include several locations, lunch (my treat), and extensive discussion and question and answer sessions. We could also spend part of the day discussing the basics of post-capture image processing. Admittedly, this is more than a quick tutorial; this is a unique opportunity to shoot alongside a seasoned professional and absorb as much information about nature photography as is typically covered in a one-week workshop.
