I have volunteered to tutor at my high school under the recommendation of faculty and teachers, and am able to travel or tutor online. While not certified, I have a plenty of passion, young perspective, and the belief that challenging a capacity to learn will aide in the long run. My experience runs with middle school to collegel students within the sects in math and English, but I have helped my own elementary-aged cousins with their basic language and math skills. I tutored when I was also an undergraduate student. My approach is to review the material you struggle with to see what the root cause is before using examples to eventually register the proper identification of how best to answer. When having difficulty, I patiently rewind and do an example for them. I love tutoring knowing that learning is not without benefit, and so at the end of every lesson, I will correspond a brief review that reinforces material, ingraining the innate demonstration of recollection. The focus is to instill that progress is to be made, not static nor regression in ability.
