I also work as a dialect coach teaching actors in Hollywood how to speak Japanese for TV shows and have taken classes in Japanese voice acting where I worked alongside professional voice actors!

With over 11 years of teaching experience in both America and Japan, I specialize in teaching Japanese as a foreign language. My academic foundation includes a degree in History and Japanese Language with awards of excellence in Japanese. Beyond formal qualifications, I have certifications in teaching Japanese from beginner to advanced levels, and I have also taken developmental psychology courses to help aid in my lessons. I possess hands-on experience in teaching students with varying learning profiles, including those with ADHD, dyslexia, autism, and other unique needs. My instructional approach is tailored to accommodate diverse learning styles, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

Not only have I worked with countless language learners helping them pass the various levels of the JLPT and get jobs in Japan, but I have also helped place many students in Japanese language programs at prestigious institutions such as Yale, Harvard, Waseda, and Oxford Universities as well.
