"My name is Kaylee and I am a recent Eckerd College graduate. Here, I majored in anthropology with a focus in archaeology. I have had the pleasure of traveling abroad and surveying an archaeological site, familiarizing myself with professional archaeological equipment and techniques. This college allowed me to find my passion in anthropology and archaeology, and the opportunity to pursue it.

My love for the field is what inspires me to tutor others, and I held two teaching assistant positions at my school for anthropology courses. The first was in Forensic Anthropology and the second in Anthropological Research Methods. From these experiences and my undergraduate coursework, I am excited and prepared to share the knowledge I have accumulated from my professors and independent research so other students may find success in their classes.

At my graduation, I was inducted into the Lamda Alpha Honors society for Anthropology, as I had shown outstanding performances in classes for my major. I have been a student learning the material for the first time and also had experience as a teaching assistant, so I have been on both ends of the spectrum. Knowing how to present information to those learning a new subject so they are able to understand and absorb the information is key, and I am willing to find what works best for any student.
