"I am a heart-centered speech-language pathologist, and I currently work with preschoolers. I earned my B.S. in speech-language pathology/audiology, B.A. in Spanish, and M.S. in speech-language pathology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. I have always loved words, so my areas of expertise include English, Spanish, and writing. My specialty is helping my students learn new skills by meeting them where they are and providing the right amount of support to accomplish their goals. I have a passion for helping students achieve their greatest potential and overcome new challenges - and I'm excited to be a part of each journey!

During my college years, I had the opportunity to study abroad twice, spending a full semester in Puerto Rico and six weeks in Spain. I loved that I was able to take the knowledge from my Spanish courses and apply it in the world. I gained incredible insight as to how to go beyond book work to make Spanish come alive. This is the insight that I seek to share with my students to help this beautiful language come alive for them.

I have always been particularly interested in the rules, mechanics, and grammatical elements that govern English. Writing has always been a strength of mine, as I am particular about how words go together to express exactly what I want to communicate. I love to proofread, edit, and help students make their words flow together smoothly. My areas of expertise include the fundamentals of language development and using these building blocks to enhance spoken and written expression.
