"I am a lifetime learner. Graduating from high school as the salutatorian with a 4.0 GPA, I earned a B.A. in Philosophy with extensive coursework in language and literature. I attended a Lutheran seminary for two years, studying theology and Biblical languages and later earned 30 credit hours in a Master of Linguistics program focused on Teaching English as a Second Language. Additionally, I have maintained an on-going interest and study of physics, biology, and environmental sciences. I have been self-employed as a business owner/entrepreneur most of my working life in the environmental field. Having sold my business, I am now developing a teaching career.
