"In 2010, I graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers with a BA in Art History and Classics and a minor in television/media arts. I received numerous honors and awards; I was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Alpha Theta and received the Reverend John C. Smock award for excellence in Ancient Greek and the Jane C. Waldbaum fellowship. This last award provided me with the funds to participate in The Gabii Project in 2009. This was an archaeological field project, which took place at an ancient Latin site, Gabii, about 18km east of Rome). This past summer, I returned to Italy via a grant from CAAS (a regional classical association) and participated in an excavation of a Roman villa in the small town of Vacone.
