"I am a Board Certified Labor and Employment Attorney with extensive tutoring experience. During high school I was always a tutor for fellow students. Due to my extensive tutoring, when I was a senior in high school, my high school asked if I wanted teach a Senior Math course to my fellow seniors. I enjoyed teaching a classroom of 15 to 20 students pre-algebra, algebra, and geometry. In high school I was also the teacher's assistant for debate class. I myself was tutored in the subjects of chemistry and physics, so I am cognizant of what methods worked for me on the receiving end of lesson plans.

I studied Political Science and Psychology in Undergraduate. During this time I co-founded the Pre-Law society and held debates, public speaking competitions, and mock trials. On standardized testing, I scored in the top percentiles on the SAT, the ACT, and the Texas Bar Exam on my first attempt.

I am a graduate of St. Mary's University School of Law, and during my tenure was on the Dean's List. I stayed active with work, student organizations, and moot court competitions. During Law School, I worked for LexisNexis doing legal research throughout my time in law school, and helped fellow law students with research and writing.

I am an attorney, and my focus is labor and employment law, although I also practice some consumer law, personal injury, and other civil litigation. I am a certified mediator and certified family law mediator, and am licensed to practice in the State of Texas, in the Western District of Texas, the Southern District of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.

I am currently in Toastmasters, and enjoy learning about and teaching others about public speaking. I am two speeches away from being a Distinguished Toastmaster, which is almost the same as saying I will be a "black belt" in public speaking. I am an avid reader, and enjoy biographies, philosophical treatises, historical books, classics, and much more. I enjoy constantly learning and helping others learn." less...
