REVIT is a modeling program (part of the autodesk family) which is increasingly being used by more firms, designers, and engineers. REVIT has great capacity in both renderings and producing construction documents.

I work with REVIT daily and have used this program for over 10 years now. There's many approaches to your design, half the battle is learning to maneuver within the program. My instruction level is from (beginning to advanced). Please note ** All instruction is Architecture Based Design - no MEP; and Structural design is kept within Architectural parameters.

My education is in Architecture, from the New School of Architecture and Design, San Diego CA with a minor in Urban Design and Planning and an A.S. degree in Behavioral Sciences. My work experience is in commercial work: mainly Entertainment, Shopping, and Hospitality, Industrial; and more recently, Residential market.

My goal: Is to open the door to more people to understand and to properly use Revit into their day to day design process and construction implementation. While self taught instruction is admirable, the day to day flow needs to be aligned with how Revit works if you are to have a fluid work system.

With the right combination of education, work experience and a 3D modeling tool - your next design can be on a higher level of understanding than your 2D counterparts. While 2D platforms are still the norm for many, advancing to a 3D platform allows the designer to pinpoint problems and allow for better and more accurate solutions to a design. Think of a medical doctor when only x-rays (2D) where in place - and think for a minute, what happened when 3D imaging for medicine was applied...
