"Hello! I am a licensed elementary school teacher. I retired from classroom teaching several years ago and began tutoring at the school and then on line. I currently tutor mostly on line after relocating to a small community. I teach ESL on another platform.

If given the opportunity to tutor your child, I commit to invest the time and energy I gave to my daughters whom I home schooled and to the students I taught in my classroom. I feel each person can improve their performance with the right guidance and tools. I believe it is invaluable to study daily and to practice new skills in order to master them. Repetition, oral reading and "teaching the teacher" are tools which enhance learning.

I enjoy editing documents and have worked with an international adult on articles she publishes in a professional magazine. I have worked proofreading college papers for a student. I have worked with a local author editing stories.
