Regarding web development, I have privately tutored individuals in JavaScript and React. Our lessons would consist of exercises that are geared at learning individual aspects of coding languages followed by projects which are aimed at applying all of the material in a realistic application. My experience in deploying various applications allows me to understand the end goals of full-stack web development. By the end of our lessons, you will be capable of creating responsive web applications which function dynamically and can interact with online databases.

My music background includes playing the saxophone and clarinet, along with teaching privately and at the non-profit organization, Youth At Jazz. I have experience learning classical and jazz theory in a university setting. I also have over a decade of experience performing live music. I have played big band jazz with groups such as the Asheville Jazz Orchestra and the Russ Wilson Orchestra. Our lessons would consist of mastering music fundamentals such as rhythm, melody, and harmony. We would do this through a mixture of instruction, exercises, and play-along materials. By the end of our lessons, you will understand scale and chord structure and will have the tools to compose and improvise music in any style you choose.
