"I'm a civil engineer with a strong technical background. I have always enjoyed mentoring young people to empower them to reach their potential. This mentoring spirit was, in part, why I was selected as the 2011 Outstanding Engineer in Government by the local San Luis Obispo Branch and Los Angeles Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers. The subjects of math and science for up-and-coming college bound engineering students, and the specific areas of hydraulics and hydrology for those in the civil engineering classes, are what I can assist with as a tutor. I also am good in other civil engineer areas of study (e.g., Statics), and would simply need to discuss the exact type of assistance that would be required in order to confirm whether or not I could be of help.
