"Ever since I was in school myself, I have loved the Spanish language! Though I am not Hispanic by blood, I have been asked many times if I am due to my skills. Not only is it the language that I love, but the culture that comes with it as well.

I have been asked many times by friends and family to tutor them on a consistent basis or even sometimes just a little bit of assistance here and there. I have experience tutoring elementary to middle school age students, but would be more than willing and capable to take on high school or college level. I have one year of Spanish literature and Spanish conversation to my credit from the University at Albany.

I have had many doors open for me and cool experiences take place because of knowing a second language and wouldn't hesitate to suggest the same to anyone else. I love to keep the learning fun by using things such as songs or games to make things like vocabulary memorization more appealing. I love teaching people how to describe things that they are interested in and as much as possible, simulate a real life situation that they would be able to use their language skills in. Learning a new language does not have to be just flashcards and repetition!
