"For the past four years I have been a substitute English teacher in the Canton and Stoughton, MA public school systems. During this time I have been fortunate enough to develop an excellent rapport with students-to make them feel comfortable, and bring out the best in them.

I also possess a love of the English language, and have used this passion to write over 150 newspaper articles, and a memoir of my life as a sports fan.

I am eager to combine my love of writing and my interpersonal skills with students in a tutoring environment. I will use my inherent understanding of the English language and the written word, and my ability and experience to relate to students, to bring out the best in your writing, whether it be to improve your general writing skills, prepare a specific paper or document, help you prepare for the writing and essay portions of the SAT/ACT, or assist you in constructing your college application essay.
