"My experiences as a Chinese Mandarin group teacher (and also as a Mandarin art teacher) and tutor, have allowed me to interact with different student populations and engage them in learning. I use teaching methods that coincide with the Universal Design for Learning in group classes for age groups from 3-5 years, 5-8 years, and 9-12 years and adults. I use customized learning material, multiple means of assessment, and instructions for individual tutor classes. I strive to ensure that every student has improvements depends on their levels.

My teaching experiences have allowed me to work with students from a variety of backgrounds. I am passionate about letting my students know the Chinese language and cultures! My lessons utilize any technology that is available, giving my students an education in common technological uses including daily talking skills, writing skills, basic typing skills, accent reduction, and proper communication. Students are also encouraged to ask questions all the time.
