"Completed my BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2018. Completed my MS in Mechanical Engineering in 2020. Completed my PhD in System Engineering in 2022. I have been tutoring Prealgebra/Algebra since August 2012 as an employed tutor to the University of South Alabama's Department of Continuing Education. I have 7+ years of combined tutoring experience in all math courses (Calculus, ODE, etc.). 2+ years of experience in tutoring upper-residency Mechanical Engineering courses (heat transfer, vibrations, Numerical methods, etc.)

My goal is to teach students in simple terms how to complete problems. It's my experience that a student's biggest hangup is trying to understand the language of the course; that is why I try to provide a simple, easy-to-understand method of teaching and assisting that nearly everyone can understand.

I have previous experience in tutoring large volumes of prealgebra/algebra students (100+) a day at the University of South Alabama's Math Lab (ran by the Continuing Education department). I have had a very strong background in Mathematics since Freshman year of High School through my current education at the University. I have done research as part of a fellowship with Alabama Space Grant as a graduate student, and my current GPA is 3.83. Additionally, I am a civilian engineer for the Dept. of the Navy and serve as a Systems Engineer.

I encourage you to contact me if you need help. I have an extensive background in assisting students who have a hard time grasping mathematical concepts, as well as the more advanced students who just need better clarification." less...
