In 2016, I left a financial services job in the private sector and have journeyed on to a new career as a college professor and K-12 math tutor.

In the past six years, I have tutored third through sixth graders as they prepared for New York State math tests, high school algebra, geometry, pre-calculus, calculus and college-level economics and calculus. I also teach Principles of Microeconomics at local colleges. In the past, I was also an adjunct professor of Economics (Money and Banking).

During 2013-2016, I was the New York based editor for an international bank, where my primary responsibility was to edit research and strategy reports. My clients were both native and non-native English speakers.

I spent many years training clients, employees and talking to the media. As a result I have a strong training background. Most of it involved teaching clients to use our financial products and computer applications, training my staff and colleagues on our products and the financial markets, and interpreting economic statistics for reporters.
