"Hello, everyone. I have received my BS in physics from the City College of New York, and I am currently applying to physics grad schools. I have been tutoring math and physics and teaching chemistry recitations at my college for four years. The most requested subjects I tutor include algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, general chemistry, and general physics. But every now and then, I get some students who need help with upper physics classes.

Through my experience as a tutor and a student, I have noticed that transitioning from high school to college is challenging for many first-year students. College classes go at a faster pace and require a great deal of self-studying. Efficient studying habits and time management strategies are fundamental to effective and enjoyable learning. I will gladly share my best experiences with my students while we work on the subject at hand. My ultimate goal is to show students that they can study everything independently. If, after their first year, they feel they need no help tackling their classes, I have succeeded.

Besides my work and study, I am passionate about contributing to improving the field of physics toward a more inclusive and diverse community. Currently, I am taking part in developing a project that will focus on popularizing physics for middle school students in New York City. Nurturing curiosity about nature and the universe from a young age is just what might bring its fruits some years in the future.

Among my hobbies are reading (while I enjoy learning about cutting-edge science from research papers, I am also a fan of books made of pure imagination), martial arts (taekwondo classes help me stay resilient in busy New York life), and gaming (although lately there hasn't been much time for that).
