"I have almost 30 years of experience teaching and tutoring Math, Physics, Science and Statistics at the high school, undergraduate, and graduate levels. I am also a professional scientist and technology developer with several papers published in the technical literature and patents awarded and pending in the US and overseas. As an educator and scientist I have generated new knowledge, discovered novel ways to transmit this knowledge and applied it to real life both in the scientific, industrial and the educational settings.

During my lectures and tutoring sessions, I use every resource that is available to explain hard to grasp concepts. I use videos, textbooks, experiments, illustrations, demonstrations, real-life situations and computer programs and simulations. Throughout my career, not only I have been exposed to many of these resources but I have also created my own. I have:

- Performed experiments in the zero gravity environment of NASA's KC-135, the so-called "Vomit Comet", used to train astronauts. These experiments have helped me create new knowledge, understand better the phenomenon of weightlessness and put to rest many misconceptions that are taught about apparent weight.

- Reproduced the same low gravity environment, created in space, in a small aircraft providing an inexpensive platform to conduct research and to teach Science.

- Generated extensive lecture notes and, in the process, discovered ways to present a given subject from first principles minimizing the large number of equations that are required to memorize and illustrating how Science is really done.

- Worked with professional artists to create scientifically correct videos and illustrations for educational purposes: these resources make Science easier to understand and provide a visual reference for its concepts.

- Created my own experiments to clarify many problems found in a Science course including experiments related to apparent weight, action and reaction, what a scale really measures, light propagation and others.
