"I have graduate degrees in mathematics and biology and more than 20 years’ experience teaching high school and college students; I have been tutoring for as long, especially in math, science, and writing. My experiences as an educator are diverse, having worked with students from many backgrounds, and I understand that a student’s challenges can be as much about the cultural context and learning atmosphere as about the subject matter.
