Largest increase in test score: 50%

My students have been accepted into the nation's top universities such as:

University of Pennsylvania, Emory University, Georgia Institute of Technology as well as many other great schools.

I also work with students of all types, from kindergarteners to adults, and I have worked with students from the top schools in Atlanta, such as:

The Westminster School, Pace Academy, Walton High School, Northview High School, Roswell High School, Woodward Academy, Holy Innocents' Episcopal School, Marist School, and more.

As an avid learner, I always encourage learning in others. I have been tutoring since 2011. In that time, I have helped over 150 students of all ages (from ages 3 to 50) prepare for over 50 subjects, standardized tests (ACT, SAT, ISEE, SSAT, GRE), and foreign languages (Latin, Arabic, Spanish). I began tutoring professionally after entering college, spending one year as a language tutor for Emory University, then pursuing private tutoring. As a result of my tutoring, students often see a significant increase in their scores.

I possess a wealth of knowledge in many areas, but one of the things that I find fun about learning is seeing how subjects connect to the real world. This is one of my greatest strengths as a tutor. I always look for ways to tie my students' interests and real-world examples into my lessons. My students find learning much more interesting when I start pointing out the links between what they're learning in class and their passions. You will usually hear laughter during my sessions because I make sure that learning is not only incredibly informative but fun as well. By nature, I am a very personable and patient and I can work with any kind of student. As such, students really enjoy tutoring sessions with me.

In my spare time, I volunteer to tutor at various schools around the Metro Atlanta area in addition to getting involved with various non-profits. I believe (and research has shown) that working with the community plays a huge role in the impact of students' education. It is my goal to make as much of a difference as I can.
