"Hi, thank you for taking the time to read my profile! As a double major in Biology, and Science and Technology Studies, I have learned how to study both the sciences, and the humanities. I self-studied for the new MCAT 130/130/130/131 while working full time in a cancer biology research lab. As a tutor, I want to help students master MCAT content, as well as develop a systematic strategy to approach passages in each section. What I find most enjoyable about tutoring is working with students to develop individualized strategies to achieve their studying goals.

I have a diverse array of teaching experiences:

- Undergraduate TA for a Molecular Genetics course

- Mentored students of all levels in a cancer biology research lab teaching experimental techniques

- Taught elementary school level violin

I have an undergraduate degree in biology, and have spent the past two years working in a cancer biology research lab.

As an undergraduate major in Science and Technology Studies, I have substantial experience reading and writing research papers. I also provide advice and editing for personal statements and admissions essays.

I self-studied for the MCAT and scored in the 99th percentile (CP 130/CARS 130/BB 130/PS 131). I can tutor any MCAT subject, and will help students develop their own study plans for success! I have successfully applied to MD/PhD programs during the 2020 application cycle, and am excited to use my own experience to help other students interested in applying to MD or MD/PhD programs.
