I enjoy outdoor activities and would rather be outside than inside. Upon graduating high school, I chose to attend Auburn University because of the engineering program.
I have always been fascinated with machines and how they work, so mechanical engineering was quite befitting. Upon graduation from Auburn University I hope to join the military and attend pilot school. However mechanical engineering will provide quality back-up.
Grades are very important in my life and I thoroughly believe that those that put in the time and effort will see great results. Proper preparation prevents poor performance. The first step is understanding the material and the rest is relaxing and applying your knowledge. I believe I am qualified to tutor math because I have taken every high school math offered in Alabama public schools.
Additionally In college I have taken Calculus I-III, Differential Equations (Calculus IV), and Linear Algebra. Not only have I taken all of these maths, but I still use them on a daily basis in my current engineering curriculum.
Studying mechanical engineering has also allowed me to understand and interpret data from graphs and charts, which is the vast majority of the ACT science portion. The rest is basic science concepts and knowledge. I am very fluent in these subjects and more than capable of helping others learn them.
I approach tutoring others in the same manner that I have received tutoring. I am not there to complete your assignments for you. However, I will help you understand and complete your assignments if I see you are putting in effort. My main approach is repetition. In sports, rep after rep builds muscle memory. In school, rep after rep allows you to build confidence and knowledge in the subject you are practicing. The more and mor" less...
