"I have a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Sciences from a British University called the University of Reading where I studied for three years, taking my fourth year to work in an industrial setting in the biotechnology sector, engaging with cellular biology and optical engineering. Currently, I am completing a Master's in Precision Medicine at University College London. I greatly enjoy my area of study and I would love to share my enthusiasm for science with students pursuing or interested in a similar path. My teaching experience includes working with high school age students as a teacher's assistant in Biology as well as training interns in laboratory protocol, but I have also volunteered abroad, teaching English in underprivileged communities. I have found these experiences to be very rewarding and I look forward to working with students interested in the subject matter I am most passionate about, not only helping them to successfully engage with the material, but to truly enjoy the process.

My degree has introduced me to a variety of biological disciplines including, but not limited to, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics, computational biology, and biochemistry. This is compounded by work experience in which I interned as an associate scientist at a bioengineering start up. I intend to use this repertoire to exemplify the real world applications of learning materials and to make the subject matter more tangible. I know everyone learns in a different way, and it is my goal to work with my students to create the best possible environment for them to succeed.
