"The most interesting and exciting thing about me is that I spent the past two years in Niger, Africa, the hottest and poorest country in the world! Not only was I able to visit giraffes in their native habitat, but also to stretch as a teacher and as human being in every conceivable way.

Initially hired simply as “Learning Support Teacher,” I created an entirely new Learning Support Department and served as both teacher and coordinator of services for ESL students (English as a Second Language) as well as those with special needs.
