"I am a professional performing musician with a Master's degree in jazz piano and composition from the State Conservatoire of Ukraine, taught by a famous jazz trumpeter Valery Kolesnikov and a brilliant, internationally acclaimed pianist Anatoly Lozovsky. Prior to relocation to the US, I led a house band on Israeli national TV and a number of Jazz and Pop ensembles. Since 2004, I have participated in hundreds of concerts and recitals in San Francisco and other major US cities, playing with the San Francisco Symphony, Canadian Brass, Kim Weston, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Ronnie Spector and other distinguished artists. Besides working actively as a solo performer, I also operate an event entertainment business, with clients all across the U.S. and beyond. In 2011, Non-Stop Events received the prestigious annual Bride's Choice award for representing quality and service excellence within the wedding industry. Later in the same year, I became the winner of Yamaha FreeStyle performance contest.

My aspiration as a teacher is to expand my students' musical abilities and give them the tools can use as a foundation to build on. Many people wish to develop their musical skills but are not quite sure where to start. Many have tried music lessons and hit a dead end. Many want to play by ear but cannot figure out how to "decode" what they hear. Many want to explore the realm of computer-based music making but feel overwhelmed by the amount of information they have to learn to get the ball rolling. I'm here to help you move these obstacles out of the way.

My approach is to take my students off the beaten path and to assist them in reaching their goals by simultaneously developing their skills in a number of key areas, such as ear training, basic music theory, solfège, and piano techniques.
