My name is Diane. I am a French native speaker from Paris. I lived in Chicago for a couple of years before moving in Alabama with my husband and my 3 bilingual kids.

I am a certified substitute teacher in Alabama, and I have been teaching on the Wyzant platform for 4 years as well.

Throughout my college studies and my experiences studying and working abroad, I perfected my language skills (French, English, German and Russian). I have a master degree in Foreign Languages as well as 10 years working experience in Diplomacy, so I am used to navigating between languages all the time.

Learning from a native speaker is definitely a plus so you can acquire the correct accent and learn more about the French culture and habits and customs. I love languages and I would love to share my passion for the French language.

I enjoy teaching all age range: kids, teenagers and adults. I will deliver lessons according to your level, needs, objectives and interests and I will prepare a personalized learning plan according to what you want to focus on: Grammar, oral and written comprehension, conversation, reading, vocabulary... I believe that each student is unique and I always make sure to personalize each lesson.

I can meet regularly, once in a while or one time depending on your needs. week days, evenings, week ends...

I do as well AP prep, test/exam preparation, homework help, translations and proofreading from English to French.

I do tutoring in-person (in Alabama) and online though the Wyzant platform.

I give lessons for students on Eastern, Central, Mountain or Pacific time.

I offer 20, 30, 45 or 60 min session according to your needs.
