"I am a native Spanish speaker. I came to US at 19 year old, with suitcases packed with hopes and dreams for a better future. I am trained as a chemist, and I have a passion for teaching, since as early as, I can remember. I used to get paid for helping my neighbors to do their homework. I used to teach math and science to my cousins that lived outside Caracas, in rural areas during the summer vacation. I do remember my neighbors and my family being happy with my performance. As I challenged myself, I graduated in Chemistry, with honors from the University of Cincinnati, in Ohio. During my undergraduate studies I had opportunity to help and tutor a some of my classmates in Spanish and chemistry as well. I pursed graduate school in Materials Science and Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. During my tenure, I have been teaching informal and formal STEM courses. I have mentored undergraduates in the fields. I have work with students from K-12 and undergraduates. I have done Spanish camps for children, and Science camps for Middle and High School students. My tutoring experience in Spanish, Science and STEM related fields comes from years of work in academia. My passion, drive and curiosity in teaching and learning come from within.

I am a native speaker with high academic achievements. I have 15 years in teaching, tutoring, mentoring students with a wide range of skill sets. I consider myself a good listener and many students finds me funny, engaging, and dynamics.
