I not only know and understand the subject matter, but I know the ins and outs of how to take and beat any test. Knowing how to beat a test is a skill, and when you take the ACT and Praxis tests, the test makers are testing your ability on how well you take a test, not how good a student you are. I am extremely skilled at taking tests, and I want to instill this in my students. Additionally, I am a New Jersey State dual certified general and special education teacher/tutor specializing in test prep skills. I am certified in Mathematics, Language Arts, Social Studies, and Technology Education. I am currently a Middle School Math and Special Education teacher at a public school in New Jersey. I teach Middle School Mathematics in both a general education classroom and a resource room. I enjoy helping students develop good testing strategies and study skills. Currently, I am a PARCC Test Administrator/Technology Coordinator. As part of my job. I teach testing strategies to the entire school. and train the staff on how to help their students succeed on the PARCC test, My primary and only goal is to have my students PASS THE TEST! I also have certifications in middle school mathematics, middle school language arts and literacy (LAL), and middle school social studies.
