"I am a Financial Information Systems Specialist at Tidewater Community College in Norfolk, VA. I have over 15 years professional experience that includes a substantial background in accounts payable, accounts receivable, taxation, payroll and reconciliation, inventory and human resources. I have been teaching accounting, business writing, college math and management for over 14 years. I tutor both, face-to-face & online.

In addition, I have an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Hampton University and a Master’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resource Management from Strayer University. Two years after receiving my graduate degree, I returned to school to get the last piece of my education so I received a Graduate Certificate in Accounting with a concentration on Controllership.

I am committed to promoting information-sharing and collaboration as well as student interaction/engagement to create a rich, stimulating and diverse learning community which is grounded in real events and theory. Whether lecturing or hands on in the classroom, I believe in engaging in real world discussions that are thought provoking and are constantly challenging you to think outside of the box.
