I worked in the San Francisco Unified School District as a Japanese teacher in High School.

I have been working as a test-prep instructor for the students of UC Berkeley, UC Davis, Dartmouth University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, the University of San Francisco, the University of Oregon, San Francisco State University, the University of Texas at Dallas, Saddleback College, Columbus State Community College, Portland Community College, De Anza College, Rio Salado College, Sierra College, Diablo Valley College, Keio University (Japan), and Kyushu University (Japan).

I have also worked for Pixar Animation Studios, Calidas Cloud, and Clearwater Paper Corporation.

I graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Foreign Language Education, specializing in Japanese. I received a K-12th Teaching Certificate in Ohio.

I'm familiar with the high school program of Fountain Valley, Athenian, Head-Royce, Carondelet, Homestead, Cupertino, Gunn, Adrian Wilcox, Foothill, Freemont, Monte Vista, and San Ramon Valley—also, IB (International Baccalaureate) program schools.

I specialize in AP, ACTFL, and JLPT test prep.

I was born in Tokyo and raised in Yokohama. I visit my family in Japan every year. So if you want to travel to Japan, I can introduce plenty of resources.
