"Hi! My name is Julie and I am currently a medical student at the University of Florida. I have a degree in Hispanic Studies/ Spanish from Pepperdine University in California. Thus, my ultimate goal is to be a physician and open a free clinic in an underserved area.. I spent a year and a half of my college career studying abroad in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I grew up in the Philippines, as well, so I am very passionate about exploring the world and learning about different cultures.

Additionally, I am passionate about education and I believe that not every person is the same or learns in the same way. So I really focus on what is the best way to help the student to learn or to communicate a specific idea or concept. Of course, this path is time consuming and requires a good amount of trial and error, but it can be done quickly on a regular one-on-one basis.
