"I was born and raised in Jamaica and I relocated to the United States for college. I received my Bachelors in Psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh (upstate NY - very different weather than Jamaica haha). Throughout those years I developed and cultivated my passion for helping others.

I am currently a MSEd. student at Indiana University where I am studying Mental Health Counseling. I have been fortunate enough to work with so many different students of many different backgrounds over the past 5 years. Many of the evaluations and feedback I have received speak to my patient approach to tutoring and walking with my students through their work step by step. I truly enjoy helping students with their writing and proofreading their work!

I have always loved English as a subject! As early as the 2nd grade, English became my favorite subject. I think my patience and slow pace enables me to really connect with students and allow them to grasp difficult concepts in English. I also have experience and certification in TESOL.
