"I've been tutoring math for over 10 years; during that time, I've worked with students in elementary school, middle school, high school, and college, as well as adults returning to school to obtain degrees or certifications. I focus on algebra and geometry, and I also tutor math found on standardized tests such as the SAT and ACT. In the past, I've tutored up through calculus, along with physics and economics.

I am confident in my ability to tutor math, and I pride myself on being personable and patient with my students. I do my best to explain concepts in terms that are easily understood, and I tailor my explanations to each individual. I understand that everyone has different goals when it comes to learning math, and I keep my students' goals in mind as we progress in our lessons.

I am currently a research faculty member at Georgia Tech working on their online education programs. I have a master's in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech and a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (with minors in Business and Spanish) from UT Austin.

I'm available for regular recurring lessons or one-time lessons on an as-needed basis, and I'm happy to meet in a public location or at your home.
