"Hi, my name is June. I am a full-time tutor. I have over 15 years of experience as a classroom instructor and as an online tutor in various subjects. I am very patient and work well with children and adult students as well.

I have a Master's degree in Psychology. I use principles of human learning behavior, cognitive process, and memory mechanism in teaching and creating a curriculum.

My teaching style depends on the student. In other words, I change my teaching techniques to fit the level and personality of each student.

The subjects that I teach are:

- Math (pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, College Algebra, and general Math)

- Math in test prep (ACT, SAT, GED, GRE, ASVAB, etc.)

- Computer skills (Microsoft Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint, etc.)

- Japanese: beginning - advanced level (writing, grammar, speaking/listening, for business, etc.)

- JLPT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) prep

*In the case of no-show or short-notice cancellation (less than 24-hr notice), you will be charged 100% of the lesson fee.

***Japanese Conversation Session***

In addition to my regular Japanese lessons, I offer students Japanese Conversation Sessions. The session is for students who like to practice their Japanese by talking with other students or native Japanese speakers. I myself will also stay in this session to monitor and guide through the conversation, provide vocabulary, or explain phrases as necessary.
