"I have a passion for explaining math in a way that is easy to understand. I have been tutoring middle school, high school, and college math and science for about 4 years. I have a background in biomedical engineering but am currently teaching high school math and physics. I obtained my minor in chemistry in 2020 and have been tutoring chemistry for about one year. When tutoring I aim to not only strengthen math and science skills but to build confidence as well, helping students to succeed long after tutoring.

As someone with ADHD and someone with a family member with autism, I understand that every person learns differently, and some students with learning disabilities require certain modifications to my teaching. For example, autistic students don't like to look people in the eyes. In fact, they will prefer that I look away from them. During my session with such students, I will avoid eye contact with them to make them feel more comfortable while learning the subject they're struggling with.
