"As a lifelong learner and an ever-progressing human being, education and knowledge has been an integral part of my life. I hope to share and foster that perspective with others and tutoring is the best possible way to do so.

As a young leader in the area of English, I understand the difficulties with intrinsic motivation and relevance most students have within English education. However, I have always built strong rapport my students and those I am aiding.

I have had the luxury of tutoring while in college taking classes fulfilling my education degree. I was with a Federal organization, titled Upward Bound, on campus. Each year having served around a hundred students for a time span of about 4 years has demonstrated to me the importance of uniqueness, personal learning styles, viewpoints, and varying motivations (especially in relation to young adolescents).

The long term employment at said program was due to the amazing staff, the ability to teach, but, more importantly: the personalities, intellect, and determination of the students. All of these are important and I strongly believe in all these areas for students to be successful. My goal is to stress these areas in order to help your son/daughter to not only strengthen their grades, but help overall affect, in a positive way, these other vital areas to help become a smart, well-rounded individual.

I love teaching/tutoring because I feel every child has the ability to learn, it just might take a little bit of work to understand where their motivation lies. Learning can be fun and integrate different strategies to understand the material, while at the same time can be traditional in order to be sure they understand a key concept or idea. I thrive for seeing the light in students' eyes when they find some level of enjoyment and engagement within my area.
