"My name is Ashwin. I am a PhD graduate in Biomedical Engineering with a strong background in programming and math!

I spent the last 5 years as a graduate student researcher at USC where I designed and developed fun virtual reality games and software applications for academic research labs. During this period, I mentored several undergraduate and graduate students on game development and computer science fundamentals.

During graduate school, I completed a rigorous engineering curriculum heavy in mathematics and statistics. I also gave numerous technical talks and presentations to audiences with diverse backgrounds and have a strong ability to present complex information in a way that's understandable to everyone.

Prior to graduate school, I tutored high school students in algebra I and II for over a year. I currently work as a Data Scientist where I combine math and programming on a daily basis to build cool machine learning models.

As a recent graduate, I have the ability to see things from the perspective of a student which allows me to present material in a way that is engaging and facilitates learning.
