In my role as a graduate adviser, I have helped to guide Masters' and doctoral students through the dissertation and thesis process.  I regularly advise students applying for graduate and professional schools, and international fellowship competitions like the Rhodes, Fulbright, and Marshalls. Upon my return to the US, I attended Rutgers University and received a MA and a PhD in European History. I am the author of a book and numerous articles and have been teaching at the university level since 1995.

As a lover of history, I want my students to learn about the past both for its own sake and so that they may better understand the world in which we live.
