"I have been teaching history on the college level for twenty-four years. My goal is to help everyone I teach and tutor to understand and appreciate history. I believe I have been successful at telling the story of history in a manner that is interesting and enjoyable. I make an effort to break down difficult subjects by relating them to familiar situations. I have my BA, MA, and PhD in history. I also participate in a local living history organization that brings history to life for the general public. Although I am well read in my fields, I continue to read and learn more every day."
