"I am Social Scientist focusing on public health and health communication research who works in the governmental sector. I earned my M.A. and PhD in Psychology, with a focus on Applied Social Psychology, from Claremont Graduate University. I have authored and co-authored publications in social psychology, public health, and communication journals.

I have an extensive background in being a teaching assistant, teacher, and tutor. I began my journey as a teaching assistant in graduate school, to graduate students, helping with research methods, survey methods, and motivation, affect, and cognition classes for several years. I also tutored students in how to use SPSS. I then taught social psychology and statistics to undergraduate students for several years prior to graduating and then beginning applied research work.

I have a strong background in research methods and statistics. My primary statistics program to tutor is SPSS but I am also proficient in STATA.

My goal is to help students gain a better grasp of statistics and research. I hope I have the chance to help you reach your academic and research goals!

I have worked with SPSS for over 10 years and can help explain statistical topics ranging from probability and z-tests to more advanced topics such as structural equation modeling and factor analyses. I also have a passion and ability to share statistical results and output in a manner that those who do not have the background can understand.

As mentioned previously, I have had a focus on research methods and statistics within the realm of psychology for around 10 years.
