Bridge design, analysis and rehabilitation of exotic and state of the art bridges has always been my passion, and it's reflected in the work concentration. Analysis of the current bridge condition, through inspection reports and as-built and rehab plans has been my specialty. Forensic engineering would be my ultimate goal in academics. Legal questions of liability, responsibility, and the administration of justice frequently involve properties of the physical world. The forensic engineer is needed to translate between the legal issue and an engineering statement of the problem. Weighty legal decisions may hang on technical matters involving natural laws, calculable quantities, or adherence to specifications. There may be significant consequences for individuals and corporations. The courts need impartial, objective evidence, presented in a formal manner. And sometimes the only such evidence is provided by an engineering analysis." less...

Education and Qualifications
|school:||CUNY - York College|
I am currently a college senior and research assistant at City University of New York - York College studying Physics and Computer Information Systems and researching on Mu to e conversion through particle accelerator simulation. I was previously employed at AI Engineers, Inc. as a Structural Engineer 1 for 3 years since I have a civil engineering background. I was a tutor at the City College of New York - CUNY for college level science courses. I have hands-on experience with one-on-one teaching as well as teaching in a classroom setting. My teaching style changes based on students needs. I can be a very strict tutor, and a very lenient one also. I DON'T TUTOR AS A CRASH course teacher. My past experiences hasn't made better students with good grades because they come to me at the eleventh hour and want to boost their grades because they haven't performed better previously in the exams or tests. This is where it shows the students lack of interest in the course. However, if there is ample time to boost students knowledge to the level of the class pacing in the school, it is possible to score an average A in the class if you have a C in the first exam, depending upon how dedicated the student is in the course. I also provide additional readings and practice exams to produce more creative, innovative and intellectual students. My Scores and Certification: Graduate Records Examination - Physics: 800 Engineer In Trainee: Passed - NY State National Institute of Certification for Engineering Technologies - Level 1: Passed - NY State Memberships: National Society of Leadership and Success National Society of Professional Engineers - Queens Chapter American Society of Civil Engineering National Science Foundation United States Green Building Council
