Education and Qualifications
Dr. Liao recently held a part-time Analyst affiliation with UCSF, where he finished a postdoc in 2012. He received his PhD in Physics at Princeton University, where he was an NSF graduate fellow and an NDSEG fellow. David earned his BS in Physics from Harvey Mudd College, where he scored 990 on the Physics GRE and was employed to tutor quantum mechanics. David's participation in the National Cancer Institute Physical Sciences Oncology Network has included studying the consequences of dynamic heterogeneity for optimizing therapy and developing a video tutorial course to help interdisciplinary scientists model biological systems mathematically. Dr. Liao's illustrations have been published in journals including Science, Phys. Rev. Lett., and the Proc. Natl Acad. Sci. USA.
