"I am currently finishing up my Ph.D. in physics at the Florida Institute of Technology. My field of research is specifically in nuclear physics, but I have become a specialist in plasma and particle physics as well. This is because after receiving a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from UC Berkeley, I worked in southern California for 3 years building nuclear reactors and particle accelerators. After working on the things I did, I decided that I wanted to be a doctor, so I returned to graduate school. During my second round of graduate school, I have been a teaching assistant for 5 different college physics courses and 3 different college physics labs. Most recently, I was a full time lecturer for a college freshman physics w/ calculus course, and soon, I will be returning to assisting yet another college physics lab. Prior to all of my experience teaching college level physics, I would occasionally tutor students in various math subjects.

As an ongoing student, I very much understand the struggle that everyone goes through, especially with the more difficult subjects. So my goals in teaching and tutoring are to help you gain some intuition and solve the problems at hand. Lastly, I have a lot of experience teaching courses in a virtual format because I was one of many who had to make adjustments to schools being closed during 2020 and returning with a hybrid (in-person/online) format in 2021.

I hold a BS in physics with a minor in mathematics (focused on computational methods). Professionally, I did applied mathematics in the Engineering Analysis Group of a start-up.

I am currently enrolled in a physics Ph.D. program and have been teaching college physics courses for the last 2-3 years.
